This site is dedicated to the men who served aboard the USS Brush from 1944 until 1969. The ship's nickname was "The Mighty Beno" which stood for "beno liberty", "beno movie", "beno good chow", "beno mail", just to name a few. To many, this home away from home brought good times and bad times that create the rich history that requires its preservation today. Families of the sailors numbering into three and four generations will enjoy this commemorative site of records and reminiscing of the many happenings that made this ship and it's crew one of the premier Destroyers for over twenty five years.
